Chair of Computational Biology at the Saarland University

Our group is interested in studying the structure, dynamics, energetics, interactions, and mechanisms of biomolecules and subcellular systems.
Besides employing many existing methods from computational chemistry, theoretical biophysics and bioinformatics, we like to develop new methodology and software when needed.
The group offers lectures and seminars in the study programs of bioinformatics and biotechnology, see here.
Our studies benefit from having access to excellent computing facilities both locally as well as at national and international computing centers.
