Lecture: Tuesday and Thursday, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, building E 1.4 (MPI), R 0.24

Tutorial: Wednesday, 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm, building E1 4 (MPI), R. 0.23

Requirements: familiarity with contents of Bioinformatik I and II. This course can be taken either as part of the Bachelor or of the Master course (SPO 04).

Contents: the course will cover methodological aspects of integrated biology and systems biology:

  • dynamic simulation of cellular processes
  • transcriptional regulation
  • metabolic pathways
  • protein complexes and protein-protein interaction networks
  • cell simulations

Condition for certification: Grade of certification ("Schein") is based on the final exam only.

Condition for the participation in the examination: at least half of the points of the assignments. Solutions have to be returned at the beginning of the following Thursday´s lecture or until 11 am at room 1.05 building C 7.1 (formerly 17.1).

Date of the examination: February 8, 2007, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, building E1 4, R. 0.23

Leistungspunkte/Credits: 9 (4 V + 2 Ü)
