Das Blockpraktikum findet nicht statt!!!

Audience: The course is open to interested students of biology (5th or 7th semester of human or molecular biology), chemistry or pharmacy, and to students of bioinformatics (e.g. 3rd semester bachelor).

Requirements: No bioinformatical knowledge required, basic knowledge of protein structure

Registration: The number of participants is limited to 20. Obligatory registration.

Condition for certification: For interested students an examen of about one hour will be offered in the second week of the semester. A "Schein" can be acquired if the examen is passed successfully.

The course will give you an introduction into principles and current methods of protein-structured based drug design. You will get hands-on experience in using current state-of-the-art software tools, partly developed inhouse (FlexX and BALL).
